Far from being science fiction, delivery robots are already in use across America.

As we speak, or rather as you read this, delivery drones are undergoing test flights, hundreds of self-driving cars are on our roads, albeit with an observer on board, and literally thousands of delivery robots, more officially called autonomous delivery vehicles, are in everyday use feeding hungry students on campuses around the country.
AUTONOMOUS DELIVERY VEHICLES
It's no longer a matter of IF, or even WHEN. Automated delivery technology is already in use, and over the next few years it will become ubiquitous. Millennials and Generation z that follows them are completely at ease adopting new technology. From Uber to Bird (those rental scooters) to using Grubhub and Postmates, if it's convenient for them, they are willing users of new technology. In fact, the generation that follows Gen Z will probably be amused the "we used to drive cars ourselves".
UBER DELIVERY DRONES
But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves here. Leaving aside the impact this will have on delivery drivers, the real takeaway from this is that the massive shift towards off-premise dining is going to accelerate. For the first time ever 50% of restaurant-ordered meals are now consumed off-premise, and delivery is forecast to grow by 80% over the next few years.
If you own or operate a restaurant, what this means is that you absolutely must have an off-premise dining strategy. You must have a delivery strategy if you expect to grow your restaurant, or in some cases, if you expect to survive.
With that in mind our partners at Virtual Restaurant Consulting are offering a huge discount on their program that provides the exact steps, tools, and templates to open a profitable new delivery restaurant in as little as 60 days. And they are also offering a free 20-minute strategy call with one of their restaurant pros to help you develop an off-premise dining strategy for your restaurant. Full details HERE.
